IMPORTANT ISSUE FOR THIS 2019-2020 SNOWMOBILE SEASON
We need cooperation from all our snowmobile riders!! The Town of Inlet has issued a revocable permission letter for our club to groom trail C8B which follows both sides of Uncas Road in Inlet from Route 28 and Trail 5. This trail is a corridor trail that connects to Raquette Lake. The residents of this road have complained of snowmobilers not staying on the trail and veering off onto private property. In order for our club to continue receiving funding from the New York State Parks and Recreational grant-in-aid program, and for snowmobilers to not lose the use of this trail, please stay on the groomed trail so the club can continue maintaining this trail for your use. We thank you all in advance for spreading the word to all snowmobilers who use this trail.
YOUR ANNUAL SNOWMOBILE RAFFLE TICKETS ENCLOSED WITH YOUR JULY 2019 NEWSLETTER
The club and the Raffle Committee would like to thank all participating members for supporting this club fundraiser in the past. Because of this raffle, in part, the club has been able to purchase a property with two storage buildings that is perfect to house and maintain our grooming equipment. This year the raffle income will help with the mortgage payment. There are two raffle tickets included in the envelope with this newsletter for $10 each. Please support our club by mailing back the payment of $20 with the two ticket stubs in the envelope provided. If you would like additional tickets, just include the extra amount and the tickets will be mailed to you. And thanks again for your continued support. You can win the First Prize snowmobile, a black 2020 SkiDoo MXZ TNT 600R Etec Snowmobile; Second Prize is $1,000 cash; Third Prize is $500 cash; Fourth through Eighth Prizes are $100 cash each. We would appreciate your support again this year.

GAS TAX REFUND PROGRAM
The club continues to need your help to make the gas tax refund a success. All those gallons of gas that YOU use on the snowmobile trails include sales tax that the club can get refunded to buy equipment and for trail maintenance etc. You do have to buy the gas in New York State. Use the Gas Tax Refund form that you can download from the club’s website. You must attach the gas receipt for each purchase that you put on the form. When you fill up a page you must sign it on the bottom which gives the Inlet Barnstormer permission to apply for the sales tax refund for the gas you purchased. Please make a copy of the form before you start filling it out so that you always have a blank sheet to start again when you have filled up the first sheet (or download the form from our website). THAT’S IT! So, send the completed forms to the address on the bottom of the GAS TAX form! The club thanks you in advance for your help. Call Howard Dailey if you need additional information, phone 315-369-2716.
